We are seeking a skilled Computer Vision engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms for user detection and tracking. You are encouraged to explore using transfer learning techniques to optimise the robustness of the detection and tracking system.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the engineering team to deploy machine learning models in embedded systems and test and develop solutions with special focus on real-time performance.

Education and previous experience
We are looking for a candidate with a Master or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a similar field. The ideal candidate will have ~2 years of experience in developing and implementing machine learning solutions applied to computer vision systems.
Skills and Interests

2+ years of experience in machine learning applied to computer vision

Strong programming skills in C++ and Python

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow

Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, Dlib, UltraFace, MNN

Experience with deploying machine learning models in embedded systems

Capable of concise communication within a multidisciplinary team

Ability to work independently with a proactive problem solving approach

Capable of using a principled approach when conceptualising and evaluating ML solutions
