Audioscenic at YouTube Device Partner Summit 2026
Earlier this month, Audioscenic travelled to Tokyo to attend the YouTube Device Partner Summit 2026, hosted at the Google Shibuya office.
Bringing together device manufacturers, platform leaders and technology innovators, the summit provided a valuable opportunity to explore how next generation experiences are being shaped and the role immersive technology plays within them.

Demonstrating Immersive Audio in Practice
Across the two day event, the Audioscenic team delivered a series of live demonstrations, showcasing how spatial audio can be delivered through a single device.
With no need for headphones, additional speakers or complex setup, the demonstrations highlighted a more practical approach to immersive sound, one designed for real world consumer environments.

Built for integration across everyday hardware including soundbars, laptops and monitors, Audioscenic technology enables a listening experience where users can be fully transported by sound. For many attendees, this was their first experience of adaptive, speaker based 3D audio and, as always, the immediate reactions reinforced the impact of delivering immersive sound in a way that feels both natural and accessible.
Bringing Eclipsa Audio to Life
A key focus of the demonstration was showcasing how emerging formats such as Eclipsa Audio can be brought to life through advanced playback technology. As immersive content continues to evolve, the importance of the playback layer becomes increasingly clear. While content creation tools and formats are advancing rapidly, the availability and accessibility of rendering devices to deliver these experiences meaningfully to listeners remains a critical factor.

Our technology is positioned as the mass market playback layer for immersive audio, ensuring that spatial content is experienced as intended, across a wide range of consumer devices.
Strengthening the Ecosystem
Beyond the demonstrations, the event provided an opportunity to connect with a broad network of partners, collaborators and industry leaders across the YouTube ecosystem.
Discussions reinforced a shared understanding of how the content pipeline for immersive media is expanding rapidly with platform support accelerating. Demonstrating the importance of reliable, scalable playback solutions becoming more critical in the playback ecosystem.
The YouTube Device Partner Summit 2026 offered not only a platform to demonstrate progress, but also a chance to listen, learn and refine our perspective on where the industry is heading.

We would like to thank the YouTube team for hosting a highly engaging and well executed event and to everyone who took the time to meet with us, share insights and experience our demos.
As the ecosystem continues to evolve, Audioscenic remains focused on enabling immersive audio experiences that are both impactful and accessible to consumers by bringing spatial sound into the devices and platforms people use every day.
