Audioscenic’s CTO Marcos Simón will share his insights into immersive
technology as one of the featured expert panellists
Austin, Texas, March 8, 2024 — Audioscenic, the UK-based developer of the
Amphi AI Beamforming spatial audio technology, will participate in the upcoming
SXSW 2024 Panel on March 14th starting at 11:30am CT located in Salon K, at the
Hilton Austin Downtown. The panel will highlight key developments over the last
decade in immersive audio as well as discussing current trends and projecting future opportunities for entertainment, gaming, virtual reality and beyond. Marcos Simón, CTO of Audioscenic, will sit alongside Natalia Szczepanczyk of HOLOPLOT as co-hosts Monica Bolles and Oliver Kadel lead the live discussion for the ImmersiveAudio Podcast.

Marcos Simón is the Co-Founder and CTO of Audioscenic, which was established in 2019. He is an expert in sound beamforming technologies and audio signal
processing after conducting post-doctoral research in spatial audio at the University of Southampton. He has a PhD in sound beamforming to improve audibility in hard-of hearing people from the same institution. Simón is eager to make spatial audio a present reality for a wider audience.
